Teaching and Mentorship

My approach to mentorship is rooted in the belief that the best science happens when curiosity is met with rigorous technique and genuine support. Whether in the field, at sea, or in the lab, I aim to give trainees real ownership over their work — from specimen collection to data analysis to scientific communication. Below are a few of the people I’ve really enjoyed working alongside over the past several years.
